In short
- You can use this site without an account, and we do not track you.
- There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party cookies.
- The only thing we keep about visitors is a report someone chooses to send about a listing. It is deleted after 6 months.
- We never sell or share it, and never use it for advertising.
When you browse
Like every website, our server needs your device’s internet (IP) address to send you a page. We do not keep a log of these addresses. We set no cookies for visitors and run no analytics or tracking scripts. Your filter choices live only in the page’s web address.
When you report a mistake on a listing
If you use “Report a mistake” on a job page, we store:
- which job it is about, the reason you picked, and when you sent it;
- any details you type in. Please do not include your name, phone number or other personal details;
- a scrambled code made from your IP address. We cannot turn it back into your address. It lets us limit each visitor to 5 reports an hour, and count how many different people reported the same job.
We use reports only to check listings against the official notice and to stop spam. When two different people report the same problem, the job page shows a warning until we have checked it. Only the people who run this site can read reports.
How long we keep it
Reports are deleted automatically 6 months (180 days) after they are sent. Our database backups are kept for 30 days, so a deleted report is gone from them 30 days later.
Who else handles it
- The site and its database run on a server we rent from Hostinger.
- Backups are stored with Cloudflare.
- We use Anthropic’s Claude AI to read official recruitment notices. Nothing about visitors is ever sent to it.
Your rights, and how to contact us
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to privacy@sarkarijobdate.com. Because we store no names, emails or IP addresses, we cannot tell which report is yours from your email alone. Tell us the job, roughly when you sent the report, and what it said, and we will delete it. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Disclaimer
SarkariJobDate is an independent website. It is not run by, endorsed by, or connected with any government department or recruitment body.
- Every listing is a summary of a notice those bodies have published, and links to the original.
- We collect notices automatically. A listing goes up only when every detail shown is found word for word in the notice. Anything we could not confirm says “See notification”.
- Notices can still be misread, and the bodies change dates with later updates.
- Always confirm the dates, eligibility and fees on the official notice before you apply. We are not responsible for an application made on the strength of a listing here.
